| This splendid jewel looks so rich! Bright gems set into beautiful 15kt gold – what’s not to love? Two fairly large oval pink topazes are the centerpieces, surrounded by swirls of seed-pearl-set gold, and set off by 4 bright green demantoid garnets, 2 of which are round, and set into the fine chains which connect the top section to the bottom; of the other 2, one is a modified pear shape, the other oval. It measures 2” long by 1-1/8” across at the widest point, and weighs 5.4g. In overall excellent antique condition: the stones show a small amount of abrasion, and one of the side demantoids has a small chip. It can be worn as a pendant or a brooch. Circa 1900.
