This sweet ring comes out of the Art Deco era of Downton Abbey. The diamond is a very sparkly “transitional” diamond, i.e., between the older styles of cutting and the modern round brilliant style. It weighs approximately .63 (or 63/100th of a carat), the color is in the JKL range, and it is just really pretty. We don’t really know how to photograph diamonds, so the photos don’t do it justice. The diamond is set in platinum, and the ring shank is (marked) 14k gold. There is a maker’s mark which is too worn to read. About a size 6, it would be easy to resize. Circa 1920. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.
