| Here is a truly lovely garland necklace out of the Edwardian era, with the Art Nouveau design sensibility. It is pictured in Vivienne Becker’s “Art Nouveau Jewelry” on page 185. She describes it as having “festoons of gold chain in the Edwardian manner, set with … peridots, and decorated with shaded satin enamel, c. 1900.” It is unmarked, but tests as 14k gold. It centers an oval peridot, has several small pearls, and an accent diamond; also a dropper ending with another oval peridot. Total length is 16", and the decorated panel is 11/16 x 1-1/2". I have seen an identical necklace with the Krementz makers mark. | ||
