| This case from "Aurea's" trousseau measures 27 X 16" with 5" lace at each end, as well as 1" border of Italian openwork in drawn threads "punto tagliato" at each end. Letters are of padded embroiderery,flowers, cutwork and needleworked fillings. The A is almost 5" tall.and the width of the name is almost 7" .Divine linen,very cold and crisp,but also soft as silk. 2 small pin holes near the lace. Now laundered and ironed!
