| The little lady who sold me these lovely pieces called them "Church Cloths", I assume for Altar. The body is creamy silk and the pale ecru lace is beautiful and in wonderful condition!. Circa 1920. The longest measures approx. 16" x 46" has several thin places and tiny holes,and a small pink (wine?) stain and light yellow stain 1/2", but there are no holes on the laces. The other measures 16" x 41" and only has a very faint pink and faint yellowish stain, hardly noticed. The lace is 2" plus a 1/2" lace edging. I hope you can see how lovely they are from the photos!
