| Perfect in every way, these sheets are truly exceptional! They are embroidered in the heavily padded Appenzell manner, with 5 lobed flowers, tiny French sanding stitches, and beautifully executed ER monogram. These were most likely trousseau items.There is the Appenzell Blue cast to the embroidery. They appear to be unused, however they are now laundered and pressed. There are 5 double wreaths of flowers placed between the triple rows of drawn work and the hemstitching is also drawnwork. The linen is absolutely the BEST! So cold and smooth and drapey! I can tell you it is heavenly for your bed, as I have one of these for myself. These sheets certainly live up to the Appenzell reputation, some of the finest embroidery work ever! 70" x 102" There are 2 available, both in perfect condition. | ||
