| This lovely example of naive hand embroidery on wonderful unbleached antique linen was most likely made at home, perhaps for a bride's trousseau. It has a wonderful overall pattern of cutwork and floral embroidery and stitchery in white pearly cotton thread, making a subtle contrast on the creamy unbleached linen. It is hand hemmed with 2" of lace attached by machine stitch .It measures 96" x 64". There are few very faint pale age stains that will continue to fade with laundering. The condition is excellent ! | ||
