| This splendid towel has to be one of my favorites! It has 3 rows of Italian openwork lace and buttonhole stitched scallops on each end.Then there's the gorgeous MC,MG,CM or MG monogram with cutworked floral vines trailing. All by hand! It measures 46" x 33" and was most likely a trousseau piece intended for bath. My photos just don't do justice to this wonderful piece! Photo 2 shows it to be yellowed, but the towel is bright white all over. Absolutely perfect, but for one small pinhole on the back side. | ||
