| What a show piece for your bed! This wonderful drapey linen pillow case has the most unusually bold floral design bobbin lace inserts,(without ANY seams!) circling the case The braided brides are embellished with tiny little piquots, and the wheat ears are raised! It measures 15 1/2" X 38" total. Each lace insertion is 5". There are two small holes at the seamed end that I embroidered over before washing to secure the fabric(see Photo 2). Because the case is so long, you could seam across the end a few inches and eliminate the added embroidered holes. Oh it is very white, the photos show it creamy. Rare, divine, and excellent condition! I think it is probably mid 1800's. | ||
