Chinese Republic period famille rose porcelain figure of the immortal Fu holding a male child. One of the three Star Gods (sanxing), Fu represents good fortune. Impressed maker’s marks to base. Minor glaze losses and tiny chips. Originally had a horsehair beard. Early 20th century. 22” high. From the Phoenix, Arizona estate of a former expatriate to China from 1983-1987.

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "A Glimpse of Ueno Park" by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) dated Showa 12 (1937). First edition impression with "jizure" (self-printed) seal in the upper left margin. The artist's black ink brush signature and red seal is at the lower right with the pencil-signature in the margin below it.
