Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period to possibly early Republic period cylindrical form white porcelain vase with narrow neck and wide mouth covered in a geyao type crackle glaze that extends into the interior and stops above the unglazed foot rim. The glaze on the base is a light celadon-gray hue. Circa 1890-1920. 8 1/4” high. Very good overall condition. There is a tiny burst glaze bubble (see enlargement 10). This vase is from the private collection of a former American diplomat to Guangzhou and Beijing from 1983-1987.
