| Chinese ink and color on paper scrolled painting by noted Guilin landscape artist Ye Xiangci (b. 1952) depicting a landscape scene with boats in a river at the base of a tall waterfall emerging from high, rocky mountains. Dated in Chinese cycle years "Winter 1984." Painting: 26 ½” vertical x 13 ½” horizontal (scrolled size: 63 ½” x 16 1/8”). Very good overall condition. There is a buckling crease at the top and bottom of the painting (see enlargement 7) and there are a few small associated spots where the paper has lifted. The mounting is slightly faded in spots. This painting is from a Northern Arizona collection. | ||||||||||
