Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period blue and white porcelain dish decorated with five four-clawed dragon medallions set against a white ground with a faint blue-green tint. Three stylized bats are on the exterior and an unidentified mark is on the glazed base. There is sand grit adhering to the unglazed foot rim. 7” diameter. 19th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. From the private collection of a former American expatriot to Guangzhou and Beijing from 1983-1987.
