| Korean apothecary chest with 28 drawers, each carved with two ideographs to indicate a particular herbal remedy. Two doors at the bottom open to reveal an open storage area lined with Korean paper. Decorated with brass hardware. Dates circa 1880 - 1920. 28 3/4"L (top), 23"L (chest itself) x 32 3/4"H x 9 3/4"D. Korean paper applied to the back. In good, solid overall condition with no missing hardware. The top has had some restorations to the wood and finish and some small dents in the wood remain.
