| Japanese tansu with two sliding doors and six drawers. Pawlonia (kiri) wood with black iron hardware. Late Meiji to early Taisho Period (circa 1900 - 1920). 26 1/4"L x 24 3/8"H x 13"D. A few repairs to the right sliding door (see enlargement 4) which is a bit difficult to open. The original back has some cracking along the right side and a small amount of wormage.
