Philippine Tribal Woven Bark Cloth Textile Hanging

Finely woven textile from the Philippines. Possibly an example of a T'nalak bark cloth weaving from the T'boli tribe. The weaving hangs about 47" (plus 3" of fringe) in length from a decorative wood rod and is about 19 3/4" wide (33" including the wood rod). The top of the textile is decorated with red, white and black bead work accented with brass bells. Imported in the 1980's, this textile was stored safely away and has never been hung. It is in excellent condition.
