Edo Period Japanese woodblock print by Kuniteru II (1829-1874), a pupil of Kunisada, depicting a geisha serving sake in a tea house at night. Lanterns and cherry blossoms are in the background. Published by Daikokuya Heikichi in 1865. Signed at the lower left "Kuniteru ga" in a snow-covered cartouche." Measures a full 14 1/2"V x 10"H, including margins on the top and left side. Good clean overall condition with embossed highlights on the collar and kimono lining. The print is not backed and the baren marks and image are clearly visible on the back. No tape or tape stains. The paper is slightly wrinkled. There is a fine quality restoration to the upper right corner. The impression quality of the lower portion of the print indicates some wear to the blocks. Appears to be a panel from a triptych.
