| Japanese pawlonia (kiri) wood chest featuring a set of sliding doors and six drawers. This tansu was probably used for the storage of personal items. Bronze hardware. Taisho period (circa 1920). 23 3/4”H x 23 3/4”W x 11 3/4"D. Very good overall condition with a nice patina to the wood. The metal back is missing from one sliding door pull. | ||
