| Old Chinese hand-knotted wool rug woven with calligraphic decoration. The back has tabs for hanging. Estimated to date from the first half of the 20th century. Measures about 51" long by 19" wide (excluding fringe). Very good overall condition. The form is slightly irregular. This piece is from the private collection of American expatriates who lived in Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s. | ||||||||
