The woman, with powdered hair, is wearing a peach and white gown, matching bow in her hair, and a multi-strand pearl choker around her neck. the man, with powdered hair, tied en queue, wears a red coat over a white shirt with frilled cravat and a peach coloured waist coat, which matches madams gown. Gilt frames. Rectangular, each, 41.5 cms. X 32 cms. (16 1/2 inches X 12 1/2 inches).

It would be an excellent acquisition for someone starting a collection, as well as anyone interested in late Victorian/Edwardian art.
