| This is a rare and elegant Sterling Silver Piece. It is beautifully engraved all over, and is in exception condition for its age and purpose. It is 3 1/4" long x 3" wide. The hinges and closer work securely. The case weighs 67.8 pennyweights (105.3 grams). It has some light scuffs from normal use, but no deep marks, gouges, or notable dents. It has two initials engraved on the front, but I am not good at reading old English engraving. The bottom initial is a "K" but the top could be any number of things. I'll let the customer decide. The case is marked Sterling and has the W mark of the Watrous Mfg. Co. of Wallingford, CT., as shown. It is truly a fine collector's piece. | |||||||
