| This is a small authentic Victorian mourning brooch, such as were made popular by Queen Victoria, who wore mourning dress and jewelry until her death after Prince Albert died. Thi brooch is oval - 2" x a bitless than 1 1/2". There is a small circle in the middle with a hair compartment surrounded by tiny pearls. The brooch appears to be jet or glass of some kind and it has an old "C" type clasp. It is in very good condition with no marks. | |||||
