| Collectors of vintage costume jewelry know this piece, and they also know that it is not easy to find in good condition - quite a rarity in my experience. It appears in a couple of books - one that I can put my hands on right now is Kathy Flood's "Costume Jewelry Figurals" - p. 220. It is whimsical - looks like a little girl peeking over a fence. She is a cutie with big eyes and a pink bonnet. The brooch is about 2" each way. It is in good shape with no problems or enamel loss, and is marked Hattie Carnegie, as shown | ||||||
