This set is new old stock - part of a number of pieces I purchased from the widow of a jeweler - pieces she had kept from when they closed the store in the early 1970s. The necklace is 4 strands of various sizes and shapes of topaz and tan striated beads. The longest strand is 16" long and the 4 strands make it 1" wide. It has a push in clasp, and the metal is gold toned. The matching earrings are clips, and each is 1/2" in diameter with a marbled bead surrounded with a gold colored wide border surrounding it. Both the necklace and the earrings still have the Hattie Carnegie tag attached. The necklace is not marked Carnegie on the metal, but both earrings are. The set is in perfect condition and very pretty with the clear sparkling beads setting off the marbled ones.
