| This is a very fine, crescent hilted dagger dating to around 1000BC. It is from the ancient Marlik culture in Northwestern Iran. For a nearly identical piece see "Bronze and Iron" by Oscar Muscarella page 102. This piece is 321 mm and weighs178 grams. It has a choice patina and is in astounding condition. Certainly one of the finest examples of this type dagger you may find. | ||
