This is a fine example of a bronze sword from the Spring and Autumn period of ancient China (770-476 BC). It is in remarkable condition with only a couple of nicks to the blade edge and a very small pit in the side of the handle. Portions of the piece may have been lightly cleaned but enough of the original patina remains to confirm authenticity. This piece is of average size measuring just over 40 cm. Due to the recent import ban on Chinese antiquities (Jan of 2009) these items are sure to increase in value and become harder to find. Don't miss this opportunity.
