Stiegel Type Flask Enamelled Decoration18th C
A fabulous Stiegel type glass hand blown hand enameled flask bottle 18th century. William Stiegel was making glass in Pennsylvania from 1763 to 1774. Stiegel type glass was made of colored or clear glass with air bubbles, and then enameled, etched or had mold blown decoration. This particular piece is clear glass with beautiful four color hand enameled decoration of a man on horseback, clouds and additional decorative treatment. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Size: Approximately 6 inches in height and 3 inches x 2 inches in body.
