Oaxaca, Mexico Folkart African Bongo Antelope Carving
Eleazar Morales, well-known Oaxacan artisan, has created this handsome African Bongo antelope, which is a good example of his extraordinary attention to detail in his carvings. The body is brown with a delicate pale orange spatter that gives a wonderful depth of color. The stripes on its back are light gray, as are the areas around the eyes, the legs and feet. Its beautiful twisted horns are orange are rust. Approximate dimensions: 7" Long x 4" Wide x 10" High.
