| Eleazar Morales, highly talented Oaxacan artisan, has carved this lovely, grazing tapir. Its smooth lines are a feature of the artist's work, and the tapir is painted a mottled purple with a lavender and purple varied design on on the front 1/3 and hindquarters of the body, with the midsection a mottled gray with light gray and dark gray designs. The eyes are bright blue, surrounded with lots of eyelashes, encircled with tan. The feet are also tan. Approximate dimensions: 8" Long x 3" Wide x 5" High. A wonderful addition for the collector of unusual animal carvings. | ||
