Oaxaca, Mexico Mandrill Folkart Carving
Armando Jimenez, well-known Oaxacan artisan, has created this colorful mandrill - - which has a definite attitude! The head has crinkly blond hemp hair, with a bright yellow and black forehead and turquoise muzzle; the nose and eye accents are fuchsia. The body is bright blue with Jimenez' signature black accent lines. The feet are pink. Approximate dimensions: 17" Long x 8" Wide x 17" High. A wonderful piece for the collector of larger carvings.
