Oaxaca, Mexico Crested Iguana Folkart Carving

Mauricio Ramirez, outstanding Oaxacan artisan, has carved this crested iguana, which is painted burnt orange with a light blue, rust, teal and dark gray geometric design. The crest is black outlined with purple, lavender, green and rust. The head is accented with turquoise, with black around the nose and mouth. The feet are green with black accents. A fine example of Ramirez' outstanding iguanas. Approximate dimensions: 14" Long x 13" Wide x 4" High.
