Oaxaca, Mexico Folkart Bush Baby Carving
Master artisan Eleazar Morales has created this playful Bush Baby, which is astride mottled greenery. The carving is rust-colored with freeform lighter rust and peach freeform markings. The gray face is surrounded with black and the large ears are tan with rust stripes. And who could miss those big orange, red-rimmed eyes! Its nose is purple and black dots, for added creativity. The Bush Baby seems to be looking for the next place to make one of its famous long jumps. Approximate dimensions: 6" Long x 2-1/2" wide x 9" High (to tip of tail).
