Oaxaca, Mexico Lion Folkart Carving
Acclaimed Oaxacan artisan Armando Jimenez had created this handsome "King of the Jungle." The lion is bright yellow with Jimenez' trademark small accent lines in black. The bountiful mane is red with blue highlights, and the face has a purple nose, green eyes and ears. The curving tail is black and yellow stripes, with a bright red tip; the feet are blue. Approximate dimensions: 18" Long x 10" Wide x 7" High. An excellent addition for the collector of Oaxacan folkart.
