Oaxaca, Mexico Iguana folkart carving
Mauricio Ramirez is one of Oaxaca's experts in the carving of iguanas and this bright red one with its raised head is a good example of his fine work. The geometric design on its raised-spine back is black, turquoise, blue and green. The tail is beautifully curved. Approximate dimensions: 13" Long x 10" Wide x 4" High. A fine addition for your folkart collection
