| Cats are a favorite of some people, and this carving by Oaxacan artisan Eleazar Morales is a fine example of "fantasy animal" folkart. The body of the sitting cat is painted turquoise, with blue and turquoise circles, light blue irregular dots and a red and yellow pattern. There is a brown stripe down the back, continuing up to the cat's face, with its signature Cortes almond-shaped eyes. The curving tail is wide light blue and turquoise stripes. Approximate dimensions: 7" Long x 3" Wide x 6" High. | ||
