Folk Art, Oaxaca, Mexico, Cat
Woodcarving
Imaginative Oaxacan artisan Efrain Fuentes, son of acclaimed artisan Epifanio Fuentes, has created this handsome stretching cat. Its colors are cherry red and rose pink, painted in a chevron design, with a black and rose pink striped underside and tail. The cat has green eyes and a yellow muzzle. The ears are accented in red, yellow and white and the claws are yellow. Dimensions: 14" long x 8" wide (widest foot spread) x 21" high (to tip of tail)
