Oaxaca, Mexico Anteater Folkart Carving

Armando Jimenez, member of the Jimenez family of outstanding artisans, has created this anteater in his flat-legged carving style. It is in a crouching position, and its front and rear body are painted black with gray line markings and the mid-body is white with black markings. There are pink accents on the eyes and the ears are highlighted with green. Approximate dimensions: 23" Long x 4" Wide x 8" High. Perfect for the collector of Jimenez' carvings.
