A Substantial Three Piece Coin Silver Tea Set retailed by Ball, Tompkins & Black (Successors to Marquand & Co.) with the makers mark "JB". JB is presumably James Bogert, who made many pieces for Ball, Tompkins and Black, as well as its predecessor Marquand. The Tea Set dates from 1839-1851, the date of the partnership. The name "I. Moss"? is engraved on each piece, but rubbed. The teapot is 11" high, the covered sugar, 9" and the creamer 8". Total weight is 78.1 standard, 71.4 Troy ounces...

A George II Sterling Silver tankard, Hallmarked for London, 1759 with the makers mark of John Payne. It weights 23.7 Troy ounces and is 7.5/8" high. It is of Baluster shape on a circular foot. There is a period armorial engraved on the front (signed) with period initials on handle. Excellent condition.

A Very Large and Heavy Sterling Silver Tray, in the Victorian Manner, by E G Webster of New York. Dimensions; 20" in diameter x 1.5" in height; over 7.5 pounds (110+ounces)in weight. With the Webster sterling mark of a fleur-de-lis, crown, and lion (the tray was tested for silver). From the last quarter of the 19th century. Some surface scratches, but in excellent condition.

A George III Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard, by Thomas Wallis, London 1777. with Floral Repousse' Decoration. Gilt interior. Dimension; 7.5" high x 6.5" wide to handle; weight, 23.8 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

A Substantial George III Silver Coffee Pot, by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London 1774. Dimension; 11.5" high x 9" spout to handle; weight, 33 Standard, 30.1 Troy ounces. Initials LHP and "Llewellyn S. Parsons" on base (see picture), prior owners. Excellent condition.

A Fine Sterling Silver Pitcher by Kirk in the Repousse Style Made Famous by Them. Marked S. Kirk & Son Co. 925/1000. Circa 1900. Dimensions; height 8.5 inches; weight 27 standard/24,6 troy ounces. Monogram on bottom. Excellent condition.

A George II Sterling Silver Coffee Pot by Thomas Whipham, London, 1751. Features Reed Borders, a Wooden Handle, Engraved Coat of Arms and a Swan's Head Spout. Dimensions; 9" high x 8" wide; weight; 27.3 Standard and 24.9 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A Georgian Sterling Silver Tea Set by Samuel Hennell (son of Robert). Hallmarked London, 1812/1815. It is of fluted design, stands on ball feet, and has gadroon detailing to the rims. The teapot is marked 1812 and the sugar and creamer 1815, all of identical design. The sugar bowl and cream jug have gilded interiors. Total weight 34.7 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A Wonderful George III Silver Swing-handled Basket (cake basket, bride's basket) made by Robert Hennell and Hallmarked in London in 1792. Open Work Design on Both the Rim and the Base, with Bright Cut Design on the Rim. Ribbed Handle. Dimensions; 14.5" wide x 10.5" deep x 4" high (10" to handle); weight 31 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A Pair of Elaborate Openwork Sterling Silver Footed Compotes or Tazzas by Tiffany. From the directorship Period of Charles Tiffany, 1892-1902. Dimensions; 9" in diameter x 3" high; weight 17.5 ounces each, 35 standard/31.9 ounces Troy total. No monogram. Excellent condition.

A Classical George II Silver Coffee Pot, by Robert Cox, London 1753. Front contains what appears to be a leopard impaled with an arrow. Dimensiobns; 10.5" high, weight, 28 Traditional ounces, 25.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A Sizeable Irish Silver Swing Handled Sugar Basket (or Bonbon Dish) from the Era of George III. Of a Shaped Oval Form with a Reeded Swing Handle on a Large Raised Oval Foot. Engraved Design on the Edge of the Basket and the Foot. Hallmarked in Dublin, in 1799 and Made by Richard Sawyer. Dimensions; 7.25" x 4.5" x 8" high to top of handle. Weight

A Fine Pair of George II Silver Sauce Boats, Hallmarked in London in 1744 and made by William Shaw and William Priest. Featuring shell knees, hoof feet, scalloped border and acanthus decorated flying scroll handles. Dimensions; 6" x 3.25" x 3.75" high; total weight 10.5 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

A Large Water Pitcher in Sterling Silver by Mauser Manufacturing (eventually becoming part of Gorham, in 1913), circa 1895. Dimensions; 11.25" high x 9.5" wide; weight an impressive 33.5 ounces standard, 30.5 ounces Troy. Marked 5 Pint and model 2412A. Slight crimping between the base and body (see picture) possibly from an old repair. Otherwise in excellent condition. Monogram (cursive RSG?)

A Wonderful Ball, Black & Co. American Silver Footed Center Bowl or Compote. J R Wendt is the Probable Silversmith. It is oval in shape with dimensions of 14" in length x 9" deep x 4.5" high. Weight is a heavy 27.9 Troy ounces. It has the Ball, Black & Co. New York mark (Formed in 1851 by William Black and Henry Ball. Became Black, Starr and Frost in 1874) and in a shield it is marked "950/1000 fine". The mark dates from 1851-1874 and the bowl is circa 1860. Excellent condition.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Kettle or Hot Water Kettle on a Warming Stand. Dimensions; 7" high, 9.5" to handle, 12.5" on stand. Weight a heavy 48 Troy ounces. In addition to the Gorham mark and the date mark for 1905, it is marked 3.5 pints and A3776. Excellent condition.

A Substantial Coin Silver Ewer or Pitcher for either Wine or Water. Made by Henry Burrill Stanwood (1818-1869) of Boston, a predecessor of the Firm of Schreve, Crump and Low. Marked "Henry B. Stanwood", Boston, Pure Silver Coin. Repousse floral design. Dimensions; 12" high to handle x 6" in diameter (5" at base); 20 Troy ounces. Circa 1840. Excellent condition.
