Stunning coloration in these fossilized walrus ivory beads, harvested from Alaskan waters and strung on an enameled chain, typical of the 1920s. The beads are in excellent condition and appear almost as wood. Wear to enameling on chain won't be noticed. 17" end to end plus a 2" drop of 2 off-set beads. They measure about 1/2" up to 5/8" across.

This is how the African mamas wear them. They are carved in a sort of saddle shape. This is interesting, unusual and rustic. Measures 4 1/2" across the top side to side. Interior measure is 2 5/8" across.

Here's a nice old signed Taxco silver bracelet. Its set with obsidian, onyx, tigereye, lapis lazuli and goldstone. Spring hinge closure thats nice and springy and its a good size cuff, measures about 7 1/2" when closed and 1 1/8" wide face. Lots of patina, and some wear to the stones but plenty of character, a great piece with denim. No damage or dents. Signed as shown.

Beautifully made cross a souvenir of the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. Notre Dame (our Lady) is still used as a Roman Catholic church today. This cross bears the Fleur de Lis which to many is symbolic of the Holy Trinity dating back to the 1400s in France. This wonderful old momento measures: 1 1/2" x 1". Goldfilled and unsigned.

Rustic old Brazilian charm brooch known as a penca de balangandans. These are designed so that they can be opened and other charms can be added as needed. There is alot of lore connected to this type of Latin American jewelry. They are said to bring good luck and abundance. Each charm represents something, the fruit, fertility and so on. Fine Handthrown Pottery Covered jar in the Haida formline style by Native Canadian artist Judy Cranmer. 4 1/2" diameter, 3" tall. Cranmer a well respected artist is married to Kwakiutl master carver Doug Cranmer and has had a long association with the Hunt family. She graduated from the Vancouver School of Arts in 1965 and is represented by many fine galleries. Condition of this piece is excellent, its signed and dated 1987. Her pieces are very collectible and so distinctive.
