| Beautiful Large Northwest Seascape Oil painting in excellent condition and simply framed. Image measures 24" x 30" and frame is 38" x 33". Signed and dated 1953 lower right. Franz Zallinger (1894-1962) was a landscape and marine painter, who was born in Salzburg, Austria and settled in Seattle, Washington. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Bavaria and in Vienna with Fritz Kraus. He was a member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters.
