| Rancho Alegre, founded in the mid 50s, was regarded as the most popular of the early Taxco Platerias. This creation is their sterling silver and alexandrite brooch/pendant. Oxidized backplate really sets off the large faceted gemstone. The alexandrite is prized for its chagability and can go from red to deep purple before your very eyes. This one's got a wide spectrum of color variations depending on the angle and sunlight. The BROOCH is 2" x 1 3/4" and STONE measures: 5/8" x 1/2", .
