| A very fine and rare old Northwest Coast Salish or Thompson River Indian hand woven basketry tea cup and saucer. Very finely woven from split cedar bark and root, with a stunning imbricated design from natural and dyed bear grasses and cherry bark. The basket came from the famous Annie York collection, and is a great example of how the Native people adapted new foreign designs into their own. I'm sure this little basket could hold water it's so tightly woven, design is stunning and complex. | ||
