| A very rare and unusual Tlingit yellow cedar totem pole candle stand circa 1900-1920. The very well carved imagery features a Beaver chewing on a stick with a halibut form base. The totem is in excellent condition with a deep dark aged patina. A virtually identical example is part of the Royal BC museum's collection. This unique carving demonstrates how the Native was so adapt at taking foreign ideas and adding their own identity. This is a museum quality example. | ||
