Fine Early Tlingit Model Totem Pole Circa 1890
A great early and unusual Tlingit red cedar totem pole dating from the late 1800's. The totem features some great and unusual imagery. An individually carved diving Comorant or Kingfisher is located at the top, followed by a mosquito biting the back of a frog. a seated bear with raised paws at base. The bird at the top is attached with an old screw via the back. Great aged patina and fine condition.
