| A very rare and spectacular eraly Haida hollow back wcedar totem pole circa 1890. The most unusual feature of this totem is that it wasn't quite finished, but the parts that were have been done to the highest order of carving. The totem stands an excellent size at 20 1/2" tall and a gentle hollow back. This is really an amazing study piece and is worthy of any musuem setting. Note the precsion of the completed carved side, amazing ovoid, split u forms, and classic 19th century form line carving. Appropriate patina with age. Please email for more photos. | ||
