Rare 4 1/2" X 3 1/2" architectural sterling silver and obsidian cross form pendant and chain necklace designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Comprised of four circles each centered with an 8 point star and a cab obsidian stone. Pendant available with or without Spratling signed 19" chain. Exhibited in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE and pictured on p. 150 of the museum catalog.
