Early, iconic amethyst and 980 sterling silver ring designed and signed circa 1930's by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Ring size 5. The bezel set stone measures 3/4" across. Five silver beads accent either side of the frame. The rich purple color of the amethyst is beautifully veined with natural inclusions forming eye catching patterns adding depth. The stone is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Silver in excellent vintage condition with normal surface wear. No dents, dings or repairs. 1st phase hallmarks 1933-38 WS 980 TAXCO.
