Vintage 1948 940 sterling silver bracelet designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico designer and silver Maestro Hector Aguilar. Bracelet measures 1 3/8 inches wide and 6 3/4" inches long. 55 grams, 1.9oz. Signed on a back panel - HA 940 TAXCO and eagle # 9. Beautiful condition and patina. No dents, dings or repairs. A belt by Aguilar in the same swirl circle design was featured in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE and is pictured on p. 54 of the museum catalog by Penny Morrill.
