Sculptural wave and beaded sterling silver bracelet designed c. 1950-60's by modernist Taxco, Mexico designer Antonio Pineda(1919-2009). Cuff interior measures 5 1/2" from end to end with a 1" gap opening and measures 1 1/4 inch high. Weighs 79 grams, 2.08 oz. Hallmarked with the Antonio crown, ANTONIO, TAXCO, 970, eagle, HECHO EN MEXICO, LOS CASTILLO COOP. Beautiful patina. Excellent condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Antonio designs were recently featured in the museum exhibit SILVER SEDUCTION: THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA. In addition his designs are featured in the permanent 2OTH Century Mexican Silver Collection recently installed in the Latin American wing of LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
