3 vintage 1940's sterling silver bracelets designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Each bracelet measures 2 1/2" in diameter. The matching pair each measure 1/8" wide. The third bangle is 1/4" wide. All hallmarked HA TAXCO. Two are marked 990. The third marked 940. The combined weight of the 3 is 63 grams, 2.02 oz. The pair are pictured on p. 141 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. Aguilar designs are featured in the permanent 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA.
